Big Country has introduced a zero tolerance drug and alcohol policy to protect its workers and its clients.
No employee will operate a vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
All employees are required to comply with the BCES Drug and Alcohol Policy.
BCES realizes that the misuse of drugs and alcohol impairs employee health and productivity. Drug and alcohol problems result in unsafe working conditions for all employees and customers.

Any employee involved in the unlawful use, sale, manufacturing, dispensing or possession of controlled substances, illicit drugs and alcohol on a BCES premises or work sites, in any BCES owned, operated or leased vehicle or working under the influence of such substances, will be subject to disciplinary action up to and including dismissal and referral for prosecution.
Personnel taking prescribed medication must ensure they do not hinder their work performance. They must inform their supervisor of the need to take, and what type of medication so in the event of an adverse reaction to the prescription the supervisor can provide pertinent information to medical aid personnel. |
