Big Country Energy Services LP is dedicated to conducting all activities with respect to the Health
and Safety of our employees and other persons, paying due regard to the protection of the environment.
All levels of management are responsible and held accountable for establishing and maintaining a safe
work environment through the utilization of proper procedures, adequate training, applicable legislation
and regulations for the provinces of Alberta, Saskatchewan, British Columbia and Manitoba.
Big Country Energy Services LP employees will be aware of and comply with relevant health and safety
legislation, environmental protection plans as well as established company rules and procedures; and will
conduct their work activities with the greatest regard for the safety of co-workers.
Big Country Energy Services LP will achieve health and safety excellence and optimum environmental
protection through on-going education, training, strategic planning and strong management, keeping in
mind that all incidents are preventable. Our goal is to be one of the industry leaders in terms of proficient
pipeline and facility construction activities, health and safety programs and performance.
Big Country Energy Services LP is dedicated to safety and health. Our "Number One" priority is the protection
of the most valuable asset that we have; our people. The company safety program is designed to protect
personnel as well as the general public. The protection of our environment is factored in to our core
operations from the beginning strategy, to the last man on site.
Big Country Energy Services LP is continuing to build a "safety culture" from the ground up whereby management,
field supervisors and workers support the concept that safety is an individual and team responsibility.
With the application of the Big Country Energy Services LP Safety Management System we will continue to educate, train
and develop the workers in the reduction of workplace hazards and incidents. The goal of BCES is to be the Pipeline
and Facility contractor of choice.

Safety Programs & Initiatives:

On May 1, 2008 BCES unveiled a state of the art Pipeline and Facility IRP-16 compliant orientation
for all workers. The orientation will provide an in-depth view of job procedures and safe work practices
for both new hires and experienced employees

BCES implemented AMA fleet proactive defensive driving training for all Alberta employees operating
Big Country Energy Services LP vehicles, with the addition of GODI (General Oilfield Driver Improvement)
for areas in Saskatchewan and British Colombia

BCES is an industry leader in workplace drug and alcohol testing. All workers for Big Country Energy
Services LP are required to perform pre-employment, pre-access, and post-incident drug and alcohol testing

Big Country Energy Services LP has been recognized by Alberta OH&S as being Leaders in Innovation with the
implementation of the BCES Equipment Operator Competency Assessment procedure and documentation

Communication within the ranks of BCES is key to the reduction of workplace incidents. While striving to
accomplish a safety workplace, BCES has introduced a corporate wide monthly newsletter which is distributed
to all Big Country Energy Services LP employees

Big Country Energy Services LP has been a member of ISNetworld since August 2006. We maintain a SCQ-V
dashboard rating of 100%, and have recently completed the RAVS review, and have achieved a rating of 100%
